Union Public Service Commission invites qualified candidates for the position of Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor / Research Officer / Senior Scientific Officer / General Duty Medical Officer for 37 vacancies to apply for online jobs. Candidates with MBBS/ Master’s Degree / Degree qualification are eligible for this work. The selection process is based on the Recruitment and Interview Test (RT). Educational Qualification: 

Specialist Grade-III Assistant Professor (Neurology):

  • MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956
  • Experience: Three years of practical experience

Research Officer (Social Studies):

  • Master’s Degree in Anthropology (with specialization in Cultural or Social Anthropology) or Sociology from a recognized University;
  • Experience: Three years of experience

Senior Scientific Officer (Lie-Detection):

  • Master’s Degree in Psychology or Criminology from a recognized University or equivalent
  • Experience: Three years of experience

General Duty Medical Officer (Homoeopathy):

  • Degree in Homoeopathy of a recognized University or Statutory State Board/ Council or equivalent recognized under the Homoeopathy Central Council Act, 1973

Upper Age Limit (10.09.2020):

  • Specialist Grade-III Assistant Professor (Neurology): 40 years
  • Research Officer(Social Studies)/ Senior Scientific Officer (Lie-Detection)/ General Duty Medical Officer (Homoeopathy): 35 years

Pay Scale Details:

  • Specialist Grade-III Assistant Professor (Neurology): Level-11 in the pay matrix as per 7th CPC
  • Research Officer(Social Studies)/ Senior Scientific Officer (Lie-Detection)/ General Duty Medical Officer (Homoeopathy): Level-10 in the pay matrix as per 7th CPC

Selection Process:

  • Selection is made only by interview or by Recruitment Test (RT) followed by Interview.
  • In cases where selection is made by Recruitment Test (RT) followed by an interview, the candidate will have to achieve a minimum level of suitability in their respective category at the interview stage.

Minimum Qualifying Marks for Interview out of 100 marks:

  • UR/EWS Category – 50 marks
  • OBC Category – 45 marks
  • SC/ST/PH Category – 40 marks

Application Fee: Rs.25/- (No Fee for SC/ST/PH/Women candidates)

Mode of Payment:

  • Offline Mode – By remitting the money in any branch of the SBI by cash
  • Online Mode – By using net banking facility of the SBI or by using visa/master credit/ debit card.

  • Master’s Degree in Zoology or Botany or Anthropology or Life Science or Biochemistry or Microbiology or Genetics or Biotechnology or Molecular Biology or Forensic Science with Zoology or Botany or Forensic Science as one of the subject at B. Sc. Level from a recognized University.
  • Master’s Degree in Chemistry or Toxicology or Forensic Science with Chemistry as one of the subject at B. Sc. Level from a recognized University.
  • Graduate degree preferably in science with a diploma in photography from a recognized University/ Institution or equivalent
  • Experience: Three years of experience

Architect (Group A):

  • Degree in Architecture of a recognized University or equivalent.
  • Experience: Five years experience
