Three men killed and nine injured on the sets of a Kamal Haasan latest film after a crane on which they were sitting crashed to the ground. All the three who lost their lives were assistant directors of the Kamal Haasan Indian 2 film, which was being shot at EVP Film City near Chennai.
The deceased identified as Krishna (Assistant Director), Chandran (Art Assistant) and Madhu (Production Assistant).
“The men were inside the box-like structure on top of the crane when it crashed. It appears they were working on lighting for the shoot. This incident happened panic at 9.30 PM on Wednesday”, a police officer said.
Kamal Haasan Indian 2 is being directed by S Shankar as the sequel of the 1996 film Indian. This movie produced by Lyca Productions with the lead casting of Kamal Haasan, Kajal Aggarwal, Siddharth, Rakul Preet, and Priya Bhavani Shankar.
