India has Reported more than 10,000 COVID-19 Cases for the Third Day in a Row

For the third day in a row, India has reported more than 10,000 cases and is reportedly the fourth worst-hit nation by the COVID-19 pandemic. Since the virus shows no signs of worldwide decline, experts are looking at how we can revamp current means of schooling, work practices, health care and transportation to cope with it.

A complete shutdown of the transport system has been central to India lockdown to control the spread of COVID-19. Now, as the country arises from the lockdown, the transport system needs to be properly ramped up, argues the engineering experts.
