Between April and June, the Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) updated Know Your Customer (KYC) information about its 73.58 lakh users. That information was provided Monday by the Ministry of Labor and Jobs. It will allow these members of Employees Provident Fund Organization lakhs to access services online. According to the ministry statement, members will be able to make use of the services through EPFO’s online portal by updating the KYC information.’
They will be able to submit their final payment or payment in advance. It includes updating the Aadhaar number of 52.12 lakh people. Also, updating bank accounts of 17.87 lakh people on commissioning universal account number 17.48 lakh citizens. Not only this, but it also involves improving the names of 9.73 lakh people. Thus, improving the birth date of 4.18 lakh people and improving the number of 7.16 lakh people in Aadhaar. The total number of EPFO members is about six crores, substantially.
